Stories Etched In
Generations, Stone And Soil

Latimer Farm became part of the family in 1998, long after its years as a working farm. From the very beginning it was a place to gather, a much-loved weekend escape filled with muddy football matches, the thud of tennis balls on summer afternoons and the simple joy of unhurried time together.

In 2000, the old storage barn was transformed into the Cottage, where Marjorie, our ever-joyful grandmother, made her home. For fifteen happy years she tended the gardens around the fallen apple tree, filled the air with the scent of cinnamon and orchard fruit from her apple crumble, and welcomed everyone with her warmth, laughter and kindness.

A new chapter began in 2022 with an ambitious renovation completed the following year. The Dutch Barn and Stone Barn were beautifully reimagined, the Farmhouse and Cottage carefully refreshed, and a swimming pool and tennis court added to the grounds. In 2024 Latimer Farm was honoured with an International Design & Architecture Award, celebrating its thoughtful restoration and renewal.

Today, brothers Ben and Nico carry this legacy forward, supported by Sarah and Mike, whose care and attention keep Latimer Farm as inviting and immaculate as ever. The gardens hum with bees in summer, fires crackle in winter, and each season brings its own charm, ready for guests to arrive, settle in and create memories of their own.
